90 Minute mentoring skills Training session

Along with more formal training, effective mentoring provides a further option for team members to develop and add value to the business. This will lead to improved productivity, improved retention statistics as team members are more likely to remain with a company if their development needs and career aspirations are being met. It will also improve the position of businesses or organisations who are committed to aiding the development of its team members.

Mentees will gain great advice from experienced employees who have ‘been there and done that’ to enable them to advance in their careers.

In addition to increased job satisfaction, mentors will gain additional skills and experience which will improve career advancement prospects.

As the demands of the work environment become more varied, many people feel that they are unprepared for the opportunities they would like to pursue. Individual professional development has become an important part of preparing for promotions and career changes.

The experience or knowledge of those who have already navigated similar paths can be indispensable advice as mentees try to make decisions about their future. Networking opportunities are often fostered through a mentoring relationship, alerting mentees to possible opportunities.
